Speaking skills: My food habits
Speaking practice: My food habits
We are now our Topic Based Learning by offering a speaking practice to improve our students' oral skills. This time we want to encourage our students by asking them to record an audio in Padlet speaking about their food habits.
As all activities we need to prepare our students for the final outcome.
1 - Introduction to the oral activity:
We will speak about the different parts of a short oral creation to provide students with the basic skills to create an adequate audio. Remember, we want students to get globalized skills, therefore, it is not only the learning of their English skills but also of their social skills which will helpful for many other context:
- Presentation of the speaker.
- What is the purpose of the audio.
- Main body of the audio.
- Proper conclusion.
2 - Practice with the ICT to submit the activity:
At this point, we should also make sure that our students understand how does Padlet work and how they can post an audio. Therefore, several examples should be modeled to make sure they can work autonomously afterwards.
3 - Speaking practice, record your audio: My food habits
